Welcome to Gendai Budo Dojo. We are a private Martial Arts training school accepting students by invitation only. We offer classes in Hakkoryu Jujutsu, Muso Shinden-ryu Iaido, and Tatsu Ken Justsu for adults. These traditional Japanese Martial Arts are not modeled after modern sports, and we do not conduct tournaments or competitions. The only competition you will encounter is continual personal growth and self-improvement. 

Classes are conducted in a small, semi-private/private setting. You will experience an atmosphere of traditional Japanese Martial Arts in a modern setting. You will be able to develop your skills at your own pace while being challenged to continually improve your abilities. 

It is our practice at Gendai Budo Dojo to conduct an interview of anyone interested in training with us. This not only gives us an opportunity to learn more about potential students but also gives them an opportunity to ask questions of us. Our goal is to learn more about your background as well as any training goals that you have set for yourself. After the interview process, there will be a trial period for any potential students so that all parties can decide if the training relationship is a good fit.
